This person will utilize the automatic palletizer, wood pallets, set aside stickers, tape, forklift truck, slip sheets, when needed, and the printer for set aside tags for the Bright Can Stacker. 1. Observes cases of product moving along conveyor to detect defective packaging or find source of jams. 2. Operates control panel that controls automatic palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack on pallets containers of finished product. 3. Completes Packaging Palletizer Report, recording drop times, fill times, and case codes, following directions on form for frequency. 4. Inspects set-aside containers and records any damage and pallet number on Packaging Palletizer Report. 5. Reads schedule to determine number of set-aside cases for incubation at beginning of product run and enters number on computer touch screen or sets number on set-aside dial. 6. Completes Cans Palletized chart on back of Packaging Palletizer Report by using multiple steps of addition and multiplication. 7. Places round sticker with pallet number on each set-aside case so product can be traced after the incubation period. 8. Prints stickers to place on pallet by entering codes from schedule following instructions on computer screen. 9. Removes damaged or unlabeled product from case, replace with good product, and securely re-tapes case and places on partial pallet. 10.
